A case analysis I completed with my team. I was new to this type of writing, but Professor DeSantola was a great teacher and made it seem very accessible.
Artifact 1
Discovering Entrepreneurship

This quarter, I got into the Entrepreneurship minor. I applied because I missed my days of project management from clubs and organizations I was in during high school, and I missed making an impact. I decided entrepreneurship would be fun to explore because I want to have the freedom to take on non-technical roles in the future and accomplish my visions.

I took my first ever class, ENTRE 370 (Intro to Entrepreneurship) with Professor Alicia DeSantola this quarter, and wow. I realized how much I missed the sense of agency and empowerment that building something from the ground up gives you. This class started to make me feel like my old self again, excited to start something new and dive into it.

This feeling, combined with the business skills I was gaining, made this the best class I've taken at UW so far. I look forward to taking more classes in the entrepreneurship minor and expanding my skills, seeing what more I can build.

Honors Community Ambassadors

I got involved with the HCA in my freshman year, but this year I was able to do things in person and participate a lot towards the org! This quarter, one of the highlights was the cap and gown program I organized with Julia Park and Erin Kelley. We contacted alumni and were able to sponsor caps and gowns for 40 graduates! Spoiler alert: next year we would do the same program but for 50 graduates. I'm super proud that I was able to help the Honors community and engage with other driven honors students.

The following year, I will be a co-director of the HCA and I'm super excited to see how I can further my impact!
