Opening the Curtains
This winter, I participated in my first dance competition through Natya. It was a unique, exhilarting experience that I was glad to experience in person after competing virtually. I traveled to different universities, met other people passionate about dance, and got to experience innovative pieces live for the first time in a long time. It was a bit emotional to be back on stage and performing the art I love, surrounded by people who are as passionate about it as I am.

Researcher!
This quarter, I really got to kick off my work as an undergraduate researcher. Working with Dr. Amy Zhang and Dr. Franziska Roesner, I and another undergraduate student started work on discovering how we can help people respond to misinformation on social media. I had never done CS research before, but this team was super inviting and took their time to teach me the ropes. I learned how to read papers, organize lines of inquiry, and even do some interviews. The work is super exciting and I look forward to seeing where it takes me.
